I was just there to see the manatees and grab some above-average looking chilli dogs that I could try and emulate from home.

My furry friends and I were wandering through the Orinoco rainforest exhibit at the Dallas World Aquarium, casually dodging school groups and staring at tree sloths, when we saw them.  No, not the animals we were hoping to base our future avatars on… Two guys in bold jerseys—BRAXXAR and DESDINOVA.  They walked like they owned the realm.

Stand and Deliver. The legendary team I’d only seen online—half folklore, half reality—was casually exploring the aquarium like it was their personal quest hub.

To anyone wondering: yes, Stand and Deliver are real. They exist. And if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of them next time you’re surrounded by toucans, turtles, and the whispers of something legendary.
